Microsoft Technologies Lab is a unit of Computational cybernatics and mathematics department of Moscow State University since the middle of 2004. Our main goal is to get students involved in scientific research in computational science and organize software development based on Microsoft technologies. The students can get practical knowledge of the latest software and technologies as well as become closely acquainted with perspective scientific projects led by Microsoft Research.

During several years we participated in different scintific research projects which were supported by Microsoft Research and Hewlett Packard. Currently we are working on three key projects.

The other side of our work is organizing specific seminars and trainings in which almost everybody can participate. Our department hosted Russian Summer School for High Performance and Parallel computing for computational science and engineering in 2009. We are also hosting joint MSR-MSU-ISPRAS Seminar on Software Development and Analysis.

We have local library on latest software development and information technologies. Our department is the affiliate of MSDN Academic Alliance program.
